Whether they are collected in the humble miner’s pocket or in the vast vaults of royalty, they have resonated with humankind as a symbol of nature’s beauty, and of wealth and power. Join L’École’s Olivier Segura and Lotus Gemology’s Billie Hughes, as they guide us through the journey of ruby. In this Conversation, we will follow rubies from remote mines, to artisanal cutting workshops, through modern laboratory testing, until they find their homes in glittering jewels.
